My experience as a Remote Intern.

At the beginning of 2022, I worked as an intern for a social media agency called DigitalLB for a couple of months . The company is based in the US, and our team of interns was spread across the world.

The only reason I was able to do this internship is because it was fully remote and part time. I was allowed to work on my own hours as long as I met deadlines and completed my work on time. We had one meeting each week, in which we'd discuss the work to be done. During these meetings, our founder, Lexi, also mentored us and taught us concepts about social media management.

The challenging part of this internship was the fact that we had different time zones. The meeting ended up being at 4 am for me so I had to sacrifice some sleep for it. However, we got great value from the mentoring sessions and I really loved it.

Lexi never put any pressure on us and was really understanding of our schedules. It was my first remote working experience and I think it went really well!
